This clinical training equips mental health professionals with trauma-informed\, evidence-based approaches to supporting clients through pet bereavement. Participants will explore disenfranchised grief\, attachment\, disrupted daily rituals\, and the emotional impact of an “empty welcome home”. This experiential\, lecture style training also addresses assessment\, intervention\, countertransference\, and clinician self-care\, leaving attendees with practical tools to confidently support clients experiencing companion animal loss. \nDate and Time: 9/12/26\, 8a-12p \nLearning Objectives: \n1. By the conclusion of this training\, participants will be able to: \n2. Differentiate between acute\, anticipatory\, and disenfranchised grief as they uniquely manifest in clients experiencing companion animal loss. \n3.
