DESCRIPTION:Abundant Hope Therapy is pleased to offer: Feeling Safe: The Nervous System & Trauma \nThis will be a live\, in-person\, training from 9-3:30p CST \nThe presenter will utilize lectures\, discussions\, videos\, and case studies to support the learning objectives and facilitate learning. \nLearning Objectives: \nExplain the functioning of the nervous system in response to trauma \nDescribe the neurobiological basis of trauma and its impact on the body \nRecognize signs of nervous system dysregulation in clients \nIdentify practical somatic and neurobiological interventions to use in session \nCost: \n$95 for Pre-Licensed & Student Therapists \n$130 Early Bird Rate (before 10/1) \n$150 Regular Rate \nEmail for group rates for 3+ \n3.5% fee will be reflected in total cost below \nLocation: 53 Century Blvd\, Nashville \nCE Credit Available: 5 CE hrs though NBCC. Abundant Hope Therapy has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider\, ACEP No. 7477. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Abundant Hope Therapy is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs. \nAbout the Presenter: Katie Casey\, LPC-MHSP (TN #4175)\, has been in the field for over 10 years. Through various experiences within inpatient\, short and long-term residential settings\, rehabs\, and outpatient settings\, Katie has honed her specialties to working with those with complex trauma\, helping professionals\, and those with chronic pain and illness. Additionally\, Katie has used EMDR in her work for over 10 years to aid in her therapeutic approach. She also serves as an approved clinical supervisor in Tennessee. She is the founder of Abundant Hope Therapy in Mount Juliet\, Tennessee. \nMaterials: All registered participants will receive the seminar materials approximately 3 days before the training via email \nRefund Policy: Full refunds will be available 1 week before the event.
