The Staff Therapist provides mental health and wellness services at the University Counseling Center (UCC) on the Tennessee campus of Johnson University. This individual is responsible for providing generalist mental health services including the provision of individual therapy, group therapy, crisis intervention, walk-in services, clinical supervision of graduate and post graduate interns, consultation, educational/preventative outreach programming, and participation in the UCC on-call rotation. The Staff Therapist must demonstrate high levels of cultural competency and be well versed at working with students and community members from a variety of traditionally underserved and/or underrepresented backgrounds. This is a part-time, salaried, contract position with anticipated workload of: an average of 20hrs/week for 15 weeks during fall-spring semesters, and an average of 10hrs/week for 14weeks during the summer semester.
