Supervise Tennessee Tech counseling center staff and operations.

Essential Functions
Supervise Tennessee Tech counseling center staff and operations. Counsel students with personal, career, and educational concerns. Present psychoeducational programs/workshops. Supervise standardized testing program. Prepare and monitor budget. Communicate and relate personally and professionally to diverse students and university staff.
Minimum Qualifications
Masters degree in counseling, counseling psychology, clinical psychology, or educational psychology required. Licensed Professional Counselor with Mental Health Service Provider designation required. Candidate must be licensed in the State of Tennessee or eligible to apply for licensure in Tennessee and obtain licensure within six (6) months from the date of employment. Must have demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and relate personally and professionally with a diverse student body, with university staff and with other members of the university community. One (1) to three (3) years administrative and supervisory experience required. Minimum of five (5) years post licensure professional clinical/mental health counseling required.
Preferred Qualifications
Earned doctorate in counseling, counseling psychology, clinical psychology, or educational psychology is preferred. Applicants with the above listed Doctorate would need to have a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Mental Health Service Provider (MHSP) designation or be a clinical psychologist with a Health Service Provider (HSP) designation. Candidate must be licensed in the State of Tennessee or eligible to apply for licensure in Tennessee and obtain licensure within six (6) months from date of employment.
Work Hours
M-F 8am – 4:30pm
Occasional evening and weekend activities/emergencies possible
