Mercy Community Healthcare has an opening for a Licensed Clinical School Based Therapist Team Lead for Fairview High School. What Is This Job All About?
Provide individual/family counseling related to crisis intervention, impact of disability or disease on patient and family, situational disturbances, stress, dysfunction, etc.
Collaborate with clinical supervisors to provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to other team members in area of expertise.
Act as instructor for educational sessions on area of expertise to clinic providers and staff.
Oversee administrative responsibilities related to area of expertise as assigned by Director of Therapeutic School Counseling and School Counseling Coordinator.
Staying current on all applicable local, state, & federal requirements for area of expertise as assigned by supervisor.
Provide leadership and coordination in planning and developing treatment goals, termination criteria, and appropriate interventions for assigned clients.
Complete documentation as required by agency and licensing standards in a timely manner.
Actively participate in Clinical Supervision.
Remain accessible to staff, parents, director, etc. for consultation, conference, and coordination of services regarding area of expertise.
Provide excellent customer service to ensure that clients are treated in a professional, friendly, and hospitable manner.
Treat clients and co-workers with respect and promote an awareness of and sensitivity to the cultural backgrounds and needs of the clients served
What We Need from You:
A master’s degree in social work, clinical psychology, or another related field.
At least two years of post-graduate work experience with children, teens, and their families.
You must be licensed in LMFT, LPC-MHSP, LCSW, etc.
Ability to be contracted with most insurance payers.
A heart for the schools and willingness to make a difference in the life of our children!
