I recently graduated with my Master’s from NYU and moved to TN. I am having trouble figuring out how to obtain my temp license to practice. If anyone has any information or resources on how to obtain a temp license that would be greatly appreciated.

If you have taken your NCE check the rules and regulations at Tn Board of Health in LPC.
Do you have a supervisor for licensure yet? They should be able to help you through the process. There is an application on the state website. If you don’t have a supervisor, let me know. I am approved in TN and can help you.
Go to tn.gov under health boards. Then you can read through the requirements and documents that you will need to submit as well as fill out the application online and set up your background check. Make sure you meet all the requirements though before you start your application.
First thing is to find a good supervisor. You have to submit a supervisory agreement with your application. I’m not one but will be happy to help you find one if needed.
