This position provides individual and group counseling to those with mental health and substance use disorders in an outpatient setting. Clients in this program are under the supervision of the Federal Bureau of Prisons and United States Probation Offices. Experience with CBT as well as other compatible theoretical models (e.g., Motivational Interviewing, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy) is required.
Minimum requirements: Tennessee Licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor or a Licensed Social Worker along with 3 years of direct experience required. Experience working with the offender population recommended. Strong computer skills helpful. This position will be a full-time Monday-Friday with at least one evening a week.
