Dear LPCs,
I want to encourage you to participate in my research study. I have worked for more than 25 years conducting risk/threat assessments in Tennessee public schools on students who have threatened to kill another student. I hope this research will lead to the development of an assessment tool that will help LPCs, school counselors, and others identify specific areas of harm and areas to address in mitigating the threat of homicidal potential.
We are all alarmed at the frequency of school shootings and their devastating effects. It will take 15-20 minutes to assist in this survey study.
