Where can I find in-person trainings in northwest TN? The only ones listed on here are 4+ hours away.

I had the same problem in Nashville. I am fine with going to in person trainings but there are just not many offered.

I have the same issue. I hope we can advocate for live training to count as in-person going forward since the options are so much more varied and available.

Yes Marie Murphy!! We should all pool together to advocate for live in person online webinar trainings to count. It is ridiculous that not many are offered, especially in the Middle Tennessee area. What can we do to request this from our board????

I agree, the LCSW’s are able to use live webinars as their ‘in-person training.’ Those are definitely easier to find in Tennessee.
I agree. I thought that live webinar should be considered in person. It’s just too many miles in time off work to travel, let alone the expense to go so far for keeping up our license. It isn’t fair. If we would be able to be given in person credits for live webinars it would definitely give us more bang for our membership cost.
Just in case you’re interested, AAMFT has an online conference next week.

I agree Middle TN is lacking in opportunities! Or they charge an arm or leg!

I recently heard live webinars are now being considered as “in person” from a person at a large CMHC. This was right after being told in person requirements had been reinstated.
Where can licencees find information about changes in CE requirements? It’s not anywhere on the website where one would easily find information.

Unit1HRB.Health@tn.gov this is the email for the licensing administrators. I would recommend that everyone email there office with your frustrations and also your state representatives, senators, and congressman. They are there to represent each of our concerns and paid from all of our tax money.
