This presentation will explore the application of Exposure & Response Prevention (ERP) and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) to multiple presentations of this common clinical concern. It is intended for therapists with a intermediate level of knowledge of/experience with treating anxiety disorders with CBT-based treatments. Presenter bios
Ben Craft, MS, is a Licensed Professional Counselor and the Head of Education & Training at the Nashville OCD & Anxiety Treatment Center. He has worked in the mental health field for about 15 years with diverse populations, including individuals experiencing homelessness and persistent mental illness, rural clients, families, adolescents, and college students. Ben has also served as a university psychology instructor and counselor at his alma mater in Sewanee, TN. At the NOATC, Ben works with adolescents and adults affected by OCD, anxiety, and related disorders.
Dr. Judy Mier Pichette is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and the Director of Operations at NOATC. She has specialized in anxiety disorders and OCD for close to 10 years and has successfully treated many cases of health anxiety. She works with individuals of all ages and has worked in diverse settings including in primary care, refugee mental health, and community mental health. In addition to her work at NOATC, she also serves on the nominating committee for the International OCD Foundation’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Action Council.
Cancellation/refund policy
A participant may withdraw their registration with a full refund, provided they give 48-hour notice prior to the program start date. If a participant cancels within 48 hours of the start time, they may receive up to a 50% refund determined at the discretion of the continuing education administrative team. No shows for registered participants will not be refunded.
In the event of a program cancellation or postponement by the NOATC, registered participants will be given the option of a full refund or a waived fee for the rescheduled program.
