I was wondering if someone could offer some feedback on how to record your supervision hours for the post grad licensure requirements. Any tips and recommendations are so appreciated!
I had two post grad supervisors; the first was an employer. I left that job half way through post grad hours. I kept up with them then (terrible job and ended up gaining more than I was able to use as she was a psychologist and I could only have half of my hours from a non-LPC/MHSP). The second supe I had kept track of the hours and he did for everyone. He took it all seriously and had his own process.

Look up the licensure paperwork that needs to be turned in and create and excel spreadsheet or Google sheet updating your hours as you go. Remember that the dates are less important to the board than the total hours but may me helpful for you to track.
Good old fashion, time tested Excel spreadsheet. Easy peasy lemon squeezy. I’m sure there’s an AI solution at this point, but I personally prefer that my supervisees do manual tracking.
Hey! My supervisor had a simple form created via google doc that stated date of supervision, hours, topics/requirements discussed. Then we signed after each meeting. I also used a simple excel sheet in addition to this to keep up with them for my own peace of mind. If I can help with any thing else please reach out!
I have a notebook with a section for each supervisee. It is a form that includes: date; Ind or Grp; how long; brief description of the topic (i.e. Cases, Ethics, Difficult patients). Each supervisee has the same sheet; I initial theirs and they initial mine. It includes a running total. So far, that’s worked well. K
