This 3-hour interactive CE lecture training is designed for counseling supervisors who want to strengthen their supervision through a trauma-informed and reflective approach. Participants will explore how trauma—both client-related and systemic—impacts counselors, supervisory relationships, and clinical work, and how reflective supervision can support safety, growth, and resilience.
Supervisors will review core principles of trauma-informed care and learn how to integrate them into supervisory structure, communication, and feedback. The training also addresses and the supervisor’s role in supporting regulation and reflective capacity within the supervisory relationship.
This training is ideal for new and experienced counseling supervisors who want to foster supportive, ethical, and trauma-responsive supervision practices.
