I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself! My name is Allie Glantz and I am currently finishing my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Nebraska-Omaha (CACREP-accredited, graduating August 2026) and will be relocating to Nashville shortly after. I am actively looking for opportunities in the area and would love to connect with anyone who may know of openings or be willing to chat about the Nashville counseling landscape.
A little about my background: I am currently interning at UNMC’s Psychiatry Clinic, where I work with clients experiencing serious mental illness. I take a primarily person-centered approach to care and have experience using CBT, ACT, and DBT. Prior to that, I completed my practicum at UNO’s Community Counseling Clinic, where I provided individual counseling to campus and community populations. I also have experience working with youth through CEDARS Youth Services and Boys Town in Nebraska. I am scheduled to sit for the NCE on July 1st and plan to pursue temporary LPC-MHSP licensure in Tennessee following graduation.
I will also be attending and volunteering at the TLPCA conference on May 29th and 30th and would love the chance to connect with any of you in person!
