TLPCA Student Representatives
For a number of years, TLPCA has been sponsoring a program designed to engage counselors-in-training throughout Tennessee within our professional organization. These students are the future of Professional Counseling in our state and nation, and engaging them early has proved to be successful, supportive, and enjoyable for those participating.
Student Representatives are recommended and selected by faculty for showing passion and dedication to the mental health field as a student, future professional, and leader. Student representatives act as a liaison between TLPCA and their graduate programs.
TLPCA Student Representatives meet once a month online with the goal of providing an immersive experience of knowledge and support. These sessions are designed to expose student representatives to TLPCA leadership, organizational structure, and governance.
