Recovery Care of Columbia is a new Medication-Assisted Treatment facility in Columbia, TN! Specializing in opioid addiction, our team of physicians, counselors, and support staff provide compassionate recovery, accessible through insurance! We are looking for a counselor to begin working remotely, full or part-time Monday through Friday providing Tele-Counseling.

We accept Tennessee Medicaid and commercial insurance. For that reason, you must possess the appropriate licensure.

We practice a harm-reduction model and believe in creating a judgment-free environment. One of our goals is to create an experience that supports dignity and respect within the treatment process.

The candidate we are looking for:

This individual would be described by those that know them as; compassionate, kind, patient, and reliable.

Job duties: Provide one-on-one counseling to patients via telemedicine or in-person. Possible small group counseling opportunities in the near future. Help patients locate and determine causes and behaviors that drive their addiction. Discuss and potentially incorporate methods, such as 12-step programs, to help patients through their recovery. The counseling program has been developed in accordance with the state of Tennessee’s Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services and BESMART program. Patient assessments and required charting will include: completing charting, treatment plans, psychosocial, and other protocols.

Job Type: Full or Part-time

Pay range: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour – starting pay. Pay may be increased over time as a result of additional opportunities and responsibilities assumed.
