We will be starting a DBT skills group for teens in the Knoxville, TN area. The group will begin around the 2nd week in October, and each week, we focus on a different DBT skill, and clients are welcome to attend as needed—no commitment is required to attend every week.
What we’ll be learning:
Mindfulness: Be present in the moment
Distress Tolerance: Manage challenging emotions
Emotion Regulation: Take control of your feelings
Interpersonal Effectiveness: Communicate with confidence
Each session provides an opportunity to learn, practice, and develop real-life skills in a supportive environment. Whether a client comes once or every week, they’ll walk away with practical tools to improve their mental health and relationships!
