The presenter will utilize lectures, discussions, videos, and case studies to support the learning objectives and facilitate learning.
Learning Objectives:
– Explain the functioning of the nervous system in response to trauma
– Describe the neurobiological basis of trauma and its impact on the body
– Recognize signs of nervous system dysregulation in clients
– Identify practical somatic and neurobiological interventions to use in session
