Trauma doesn’t just affect the nervous system—it can shape how someone understands who they are. Many clients come to therapy unsure of their preferences, values, or identity outside of survival roles and others’ expectations.
In this training, we’ll explore the connection between trauma and identity development and discuss practical ways clinicians can help clients reconnect with their voice, agency, and sense of self. Expect real clinical insight, practical strategies, and a fresh lens on identity work in trauma therapy.
