Hello! I am a doctoral student in the Counselor Education and Supervision program at Columbia International University. I am conducting a research study to examine students’ experiences of spiritual abuse within evangelical Christian institutions of higher education. Participants will complete a one-hour interview over Zoom to discuss their experiences of spiritual abuse in Christian colleges or universities.
Participants must be at least 18 years old and believe they experienced spiritual abuse while attending an evangelical Christian institution of higher education. With the participant’s permission, I will record the interviews and store the recordings on a password-protected computer. These recordings will be erased upon completion of the study.
