Hi everyone,
I wanted to share a resource that may be helpful for clients navigating pregnancy or infant loss.
On Friday, July 31 (10:00 AM–1:00 PM), my colleague, Kara Guindin (LCSW, PMH-C), and I will be facilitating a small-group, EMDR-informed intensive for women who have experienced miscarriage, stillbirth, infant loss, or termination for medical reasons (TFMR).
This intensive is designed for women who continue to experience significant distress related to their loss (e.g., feeling emotionally “stuck,” overwhelmed by reminders or anniversaries, avoiding reminders of the experience, or feeling that the emotional impact remains close to the surface). Participants engage in structured EMDR-informed group activities in a trauma-informed, supportive environment. There is no expectation or requirement to share details of their loss with the group.
The intensive includes:
20-minute pre-intensive screening consultation
3-hour EMDR-informed group intensive (limited to 4–6 participants)
Materials, snacks, and refreshments
20-minute post-intensive follow-up consultation
Date: Friday, July 31, 10:00 AM–1:00 PM
Location: East Nashville (Watershed Co-op)
Investment: $395
All interested participants complete a brief consultation beforehand to determine whether the intensive is a good fit.
If you have a client who may benefit, or if you’d like additional information before referring, I’d be happy to connect. You can learn more or schedule a consultation at www.sararadercounseling.com or feel free to reach out to me directly via email (sararadercounseling@gmail.com).
Thank you for helping connect clients with specialized resources!
