Starting this October, Vivio Counseling will be launching two new virtual therapy groups. I am currently scheduling screening calls and would love to support any clients on your caseload who might be a good fit.
– On Becoming Mindful: Mondays at 11:00 am, Starting October 5
This 8-week psychoeducational group utilizes Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) to help clients change their relationship with unhelpful, automatic thinking patterns. Originally designed for treatment-resistant depression, this protocol has now been shown to be effective for clients managing anxiety, OCD, bipolar disorder, and ADHD. The group includes counselor-led skills building, guided practice, and a supportive group environment.
– Out in the Open: Thursdays at 8:30 am, Starting October 1
A process group for clients experiencing mental and emotional distress associated with leaving organized religion. Clients in different stages of their religious exit will find support and guidance as they navigate this complex life change. Skills and exercises drawn from Marlene Winell’s book “Leaving the Fold” will be incorporated into the group.
Logistics for Both Groups:
Location: 100% Virtual (Open to adults residing anywhere in TN)
Cost: $100 for initial intake and screening; $50 per group session.
How to refer:
If you have clients who would benefit from either of these groups, please feel free to share my information with them. They can email me directly at caleb@viviocounseling.com or they can complete a New Client Inquiry form at https://www.viviocounseling.com/consultation.
Thank you,
Caleb
