Therapists, What if you could have the freedom of private practice without all the overhead?

Barefoot Republic Counseling & Coaching is growing and seeking a Licensed Tennessee therapist (LPC-MHSP/LMFT/LCSW) to join our growing, Christ-centered nonprofit counseling practice.

This is an ideal opportunity for a clinician who wants the flexibility and autonomy of private practice while benefiting from an established practice, furnished office space, administrative support, referrals, and a collaborative clinical community.

What We Provide:

Clinicians receive 60% of collected professional revenue, with Barefoot Republic retaining 40% to support the infrastructure of the practice, including:

Furnished clinical office space in Franklin and Nashville with no rent
EHR access, Wi-Fi, utilities, and general office supplies
Administrative and scheduling support
Practice-generated referrals as available
Marketing support and visibility
Flexible caseload development
Collaboration with clinicians, interns, coaches, and community partners
Opportunities to participate in groups, workshops, retreats, and developing programs
Our goal is to allow clinicians to focus on excellent client care without carrying the full expense and administrative burden of operating a solo practice.

Who We Are:

Barefoot Republic Counseling & Coaching provides compassionate, clinically sound, trauma-informed mental and emotional healthcare for individuals and families from diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds, guided by Christ-centered values of dignity, service, healing, and restoration.

Healing Hearts • Building Bridges • Fostering Community

We serve children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families and are continuing to expand our counseling, coaching, group, retreat, and community-based programming.

Who We’re Looking For:

Applicants must hold an active, unrestricted Tennessee license permitting independent clinical practice, such as LPC-MHSP, LMFT, or LCSW.

We are especially interested in a clinician who:

Enjoys working with children, adolescents, and families
Can offer consistent after-school or early-evening availability at least two days per week
Practices from a trauma-informed perspective
Demonstrates strong clinical judgment, ethics, documentation, and communication
Values culturally responsive care
Is comfortable working within the mission of a Christ-centered nonprofit
Enjoys collaboration while practicing independently
Wants to develop a sustainable caseload over time
An existing small caseload or referral network is a plus, but not required.

Additional strengths may include EMDR, Brainspotting, child/adolescent therapy, family or couples work, group or experiential programming, and bilingual English/Spanish clinical services. Experience serving multicultural and historically underserved communities is also highly valued.

Contractor Relationship

This is a part-time 1099 independent contractor opportunity, not a salaried position. Caseload size, referrals, and income are not guaranteed. Clinicians maintain the independence appropriate to a contractor relationship while practicing within applicable clinical, ethical, legal, and organizational requirements.

Interested?

We would love to connect with independently licensed clinicians who are interested in growing their practice while becoming part of a collaborative, trauma-informed, Christ-centered nonprofit.
