What do you do when a client talks every night to an AI chatbot trained on their late husband’s texts? How should Prolonged Grief Disorder, now its own diagnosis, shape your assessment? How do you tell grief that needs intervention from grief that simply needs time, especially when a client’s culture or faith defines healthy mourning differently? And how do you stay present with a grieving client while carrying a loss of your own?

This in-person training offers a practical decision-making framework for these gray areas, grounded in competence, self-awareness, and cultural humility, and built around the real dilemmas that show up in the room.
