The presenter will utilize lectures, discussions, videos, and case studies to support the learning objectives and facilitate learning.

Learning Objectives:

— Identify and describe the major organ systems and their primary functions.
— Explain how key organs (e.g., brain, heart, liver, gut, endocrine glands) interact with emotional and psychological processes.
— Describe the impact of stress and trauma on the nervous system and body systems.
— Apply body-based awareness to case conceptualization and client education.
— Integrate somatic and physiological knowledge into trauma-informed therapeutic interventions.
— Differentiate between clinical observation and medical diagnosis within scope of practice.
