S.O.S. Mental Health & Wellness Conference

The S.O.S. Mental Health & Wellness Conference: Sustaining Our Shepherds is a professional and community-focused event dedicated to addressing the emotional and mental-health burdens carried by pastors, ministers, worship leaders, ministry spouses, and others serving in church leadership.
This year’s theme, “Leading While Loaded,” will explore the challenges of caring for others while managing personal stress, burnout, family responsibilities, ministry expectations, and emotional concerns that often remain unspoken. Through honest conversations and practical guidance, attendees will learn how to recognize signs of distress, challenge mental-health stigma, establish healthier boundaries, and connect church and ministry leaders with appropriate support.
Counselors and other helping professionals will gain valuable insight into the unique pressures, cultural considerations, and barriers to seeking care that may affect church and ministry leaders. This understanding can help counselors strengthen rapport with faith-oriented clients, provide more culturally responsive services, and build meaningful partnerships with faith communities.
Whether you are a counselor, pastor, ministry leader, ministry spouse, church member, or community supporter, this conference will provide education, encouragement, and resources to help sustain those who continually care for others.
