Sharpen Your Grief Counseling Skills at TEND Day 2

Join us at TEND 2026! Hosted by Alive, Day 2 (Friday, Nov. 6) is a full day of learning dedicated to supporting people in grief in clinical settings. Attend in person or via livestream, and earn 6.25 NBCC-approved CE hours.

TEND offers licensed counselors a combination of rigorous, evidence-based learning from respected grief clinicians, delivered in a setting designed to restore you. Sessions draw on somatic, systemic, creative, and culturally responsive approaches. Each is interactive and grounded in current research, so you’ll leave with strategies you can bring into your work with a grieving client in their very next session.

Optional Add-On: Tend What You Cannot Bury, A Grief Terrarium Workshop
After a full day of learning, slow down and work with your hands. Led by Tonia Nadeau, A-LPC/MHSP, this evening workshop invites you to build a small living terrarium as a quiet, reflective way to honor the losses you carry, both personal and professional. It’s a gentle close to the day: a chance to process what you’ve taken in, connect with fellow attendees in a relaxed setting, and take home a living reminder that grief, like anything we tend, can grow into something new.
