Participants will explore attachment theory and authenticity and how this impacts individuals who struggle with chronic illness and emotional resilience. Furthermore, participants will learn techniques and evidence-based therapeutic approaches to apply to this population effectively.

Objectives:

  • Develop a general understanding of the relationship between autoimmune diseases and mental-emotional health.
  • Understanding of how multicultural factors impact the relationship between illness and mental-emotional health.
  • Learn techniques and theoretical framings for clients who struggle with chronic illness.
