Workshop Objectives:
1. To learn to work effectively with counselors in training and I or practicing counselors
2. To become familiar with various theories and models of counseling supervision
3. To examine specific supervision interventions
4. To develop a personalized approach to providing counseling supervision
5. To become knowledgeable in various legal and ethical issues as they relate to counseling supervision
6. To prepare to practically apply legal and ethical responsibilities as they relate to counseling supervision
7. To understand the impact of multicultural issues that impact the supervisor I supervisee relationship
8. To explore various issues such as counselor development and supervisee resistance, related to counseling supervision
9. To teach supervisee a framework for understanding of differences in situational and generational poverty, middle class and wealth
10. To assist supervisee in treatment of their resistant, unmotivated, un-insightful, personality disordered and blame shifting clients
