About the Speaker(s)
Jacob McGlamery, LPC-MHSP
Jacob McGlamery is an accomplished mental health professional with a robust counseling, education, and community outreach background. He holds a Master of Science in Counseling focusing on Clinical Mental Health from Milligan University. He is pursuing a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision at Liberty University. As an Associate Professor of Counseling at Milligan University, Jacob mentors and advises students, designs and delivers graduate courses, and engages with the local community through public lectures and workshops. In his clinical practice at Seed of Hope Counseling, he provides mental health services, supervises practicum and internship students, and presents psycho-educational materials to the community. Jacob is an avid consumer of stories in all forms and is excited to share one of his favorite mediums of story-telling with TLPCA attendees!
