Ethics trainings in counseling and behavioral health don’t have to be boring or tedious. Through an interactive and enjoyable small-group format this training presents a practical process of ethical decision-making (the Multiple Perspective Model) that is both effective and applicable to any situation. A variety of the timely and critical private practice issues will be discussed. A few examples are:
• understanding risk & private practice vulnerabilities
• relationships & conflicts with other clinicians
• technology issues such as cloud-based practice management systems
• referral streams and related
• boundaries with clients (including social media)

Various clinical vignettes specifically tailored to private practice issues will be used to equip participants with tools that will build competence/confidence and decrease anxiety.
