My name is Cayce Brewer, and I am conducting a research study under the university supervision of Dr. Susan Lahey in partial fulfillment of Trevecca Nazarene’s Clinical Counseling: Teaching and Supervision doctoral program requirements. I invite you to participate in a new study exploring the relationship between professional experiences and wellbeing among mental health counselors and therapists working in community mental health settings. If you choose to participate, the information you provide may contribute to developing strategies that better support counselors and therapists working in community mental health settings.
Participants must meet these requirements:
• Be 18 years or older and reside in the United States
• Are a non-licensed mental health counselor or therapist who holds a master’s degree in counseling or a related field (e.g., marriage and family therapy, mental health counseling, social work, and pastoral counseling)
• Currently under clinical supervision
• Identify your primary workplace as a community mental health organization or agency setting.
What to expect:
• An online survey (15-20 minutes)
• No compensation provided for participation
• Participation is anonymous and no identifying information will be collected
• Participation is voluntary, you may withdraw at any time
