We are expanding our clinical team and seeking an experienced, independently licensed professional counselor to provide in-person psychotherapy services on a part-time basis.
This opportunity is ideal for a clinician who values professional autonomy, enjoys working with adolescents and/or adults, and would like to build or supplement a caseload within an established private-practice setting without the overhead associated with operating an independent office.
Position:
Part-time
1099 independent contractor
In-person services only
Flexible scheduling, including potential evening and/or weekend availability
Clinician manages assigned caseload, scheduling, clinical documentation, and treatment planning within practice guidelines
Insurance-based and private-pay clients may be available
Required Qualifications:
Master’s degree or higher in Counseling or a related clinical discipline
Fully and independently licensed as a Tennessee LPC-MHSP and/or Mississippi LPC
License must be active and in good standing
No supervision required or provided for purposes of obtaining independent licensure
Professional liability insurance
Ability to pass required credentialing, background, exclusion, and license-verification processes
Strong clinical documentation and time-management skills
Commitment to ethical, professional, and culturally responsive care
Preferred:
Experience providing outpatient psychotherapy to adults.
Experience working with insurance-based clients
Established competency in one or more specialty areas such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, anger/stress management, couples/families, or other areas of clinical expertise
Evening and/or weekend availability
Interest in developing a consistent part-time caseload, 5-15 cases per week.
Practice Support:
The practice provides an established professional setting and infrastructure to support clinical services, including practice referrals, administrative and billing support, electronic health record access, and credentialing support as applicable.
The clinician maintains appropriate professional independence while practicing in accordance with applicable licensing requirements, ethical standards, payer requirements, and established practice policies.
