Hello. I am a MA, Clinical Mental Health Counseling grad student/Liberty University. I started practicum internship two weeks ago at a private practice, however client availability may not give me the required 40 direct hours I need over the next 12 weeks.
So, I am looking to add another site and supervisor within 1 hour (ish) of Crossville, TN. Currently, I am accepting clients in Mondays and Tuesdays at site 1. I should be set up to accept Telehealth clients also by June 8, however as you probably already know, I am required to have my site supervisor or a licensed counselor present for consultation if needed. I am also required to have 1 hour/week of site supervision, face to face, or can be virtual.
Please let me know ASAP. I’ve found myself in a bit of learn as I go situation, but will navigate the logistics to the best of my ability. I will also have 2 more semesters of internship after this summer, so I could tentatively stay with you at least one year.
