Hello! My name is Hannah Russell and I recently received a master’s in art therapy and counseling. I am seeking a qualified LPC-MHSP supervisor for individual sessions starting immediately. Please see below additional details:
Location: I am based in the Knoxville area and I am seeking either a virtual supervisor or someone based in Knoxville. I am seeking LPC-MHSP licensure in Tennessee.
Population interests: My primary experience is with children, families, and older adults. I hope to continue individual therapy for children and older adults as well as family therapy. Additionally, I would like to continue offering group work for a variety of populations including older adults and mental health care professionals through art therapy formats.
Interests: I primarily use art therapy techniques rooted in a person-centered approach with incorporation of DBT and eco-therapy techniques as they apply to trauma, grief, and adjustment. I consider myself a community-based therapist with a focus on well-being rooted in the power of human connection and equitable/accessible opportunities to facilitate connection. I am currently pursing a sandplay therapy certification and a children’s mental health certification. I look forward to pursing certification in EMDR and BLAST in the future. Working Relationship Style: I consider myself to be very motivated and organized. I prefer a set time each week for meetings and greatly appreciate constructive feedback and a guiding invitation for self-reflection during clinical case review.
*You DO NOT have to be an art therapist to supervise me as I already have supervision from a board certified art therapist out of state.
